Volunteer Opportunities

MASA After-School Program (MAP) – Fall 2015

Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays 6:ooPM – 8:ooPM
September 14, 2015 — June, 2016
South Bronx Community Center in Mott Haven

Volunteers will provide tutoring and homework help to elementary and middle -school students. At the program, students primarily receive homework help and develop their reading skills. They also have opportunities to participate in art, music, and other enrichment activities. TRAINING is provided.

MASA D.A.C.A./D.A. P.A. Outreach

Flexible Days and Times
Remote Locations

Volunteers will provide information, community outreach and help fill -out screening applications for those interested and eligible for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of American and lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA). TRAINING is provided.

MASA ALIANZA: Youth Development Program

Flexible Days and Times
The International High School at Union Square

Volunteers will provide tutoring, mentoring and homework help to recently arrived youth from Latin America.

MASA Civic Engagement Program

Flexible Days and Times
Remote Locations as Needed

Come and provide leadership trainings and opportunities for parents of the South Bronx to advocate for a better life for their children and themselves. More information about this opportunity will be provided upon request.
